Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
The Substitution app doesn't use cookies, and neither does this website. Because we use no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies or similar technologies, there is nothing to consent to, and you won't see a cookie banner.
The app
The app stores no cookies and has no analytics or advertising tools. The only data kept on your device is strictly necessary storage: the in-app purchase system caches your subscription status so Pro works when you're offline. The web version of the app, if you use it, may cache its own files so it loads quickly.
This website
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. We don't add cookies or tracking scripts. GitHub may process technical information such as your IP address to deliver and secure the site; see the GitHub Privacy Statement. Links to other sites, such as Apple, are governed by those sites' own policies.
If this changes
If we ever add cookies or similar technologies that aren't strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before using them and update this page first.
